Pastors Tim & Cherrié Peterson
Dr. Timothy V. Peterson heard the audible voice of God calling him into the ministry at the age of 18 while attending Oral Roberts University. He is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Church Ministries from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN, a Master of Arts degree in Church Leadership from Crown College in St. Bonifacius, MN, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. Pastor Tim founded CFC Owatonna in March of 1981 at the age of 21 with a dozen people meeting in a local hotel. CFC Edina began in June of 2002. Both church families have become a strong body of mature believers who have a heart and vision for the world.
Pastor Cherrié attended Oral Roberts University. However, she met Pastor Tim following her freshman year at O.R.U. and they were married shortly thereafter. She received her call to full-time ministry while on a missions trip to Mexico at the age of 16. She has a strong pastoral heart and an intense passion for the healing ministry. Her travels have taken her around the world including places such as India, Jamaica, Norway, China, Russia, Mexico, Honduras and the Philippines.
Pastors Tim & Cherrié love being in ministry together. They share the same vision for their marriage, family, and ministry. They have four adult children, Trey, Rachelle, Chantel, and Trom.
